Traditional Counseling

Ongoing trauma-informed somatic therapy. No psychedelics required.

Overview

This is the foundation: safe, grounded, trauma-informed counseling designed to meet you where you are, no psychedelics required.

My counseling practice is rooted in Gestalt Therapy, somatic awareness, and a deep respect for the human capacity to heal when met with presence and support.

Many clients who come for traditional counseling are also curious about psychedelic work but want a grounded therapeutic relationship first. This space allows that exploration to unfold naturally, without pressure or expectation.

Whether you’re facing life transitions, emotional overwhelm, spiritual disorientation, or integration after a transformative experience, this space is for ongoing inner work. It’s not about symptom management, it’s about uncovering what’s alive, unfinished, or yearning to be seen.

Experiential Counseling

Every session is defined by the moment and is not scripted. I don’t force you into a model, I encourage you to break the mold. I meet you where you are and move at the pace your system allows.

My Counseling Background

My work as a counselor is rooted in deep commitment to understanding the human condition and a belief that real change happens through honest, authentic presence. Before counseling, I went through my own years of personal development through psychotherapy and spiritual exploration, which gave me knowledge of what real transformation requires.

That path led me to formal training in mental health and addiction counseling at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where I became CADC-II certified through CCAPP. I went on to spend over a decade providing individual and group counseling for people navigating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, work that deeply shaped my understanding of resilience, accountability, and the spectrum of healing.

My style is grounded, experiential, and relational. I draw from classic and relational Gestalt Therapy, Reichian, Somatic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Reality Therapy/Choice Theory, which I utilize as active tools for awareness, accountability, and self-leadership. When appropriate, I incorporate guided music meditations as a way to access deeper insight and integration beyond language.

I don’t just sit back in sessions and simply ask how you’re feeling. I show up as an authentic human being who is attentive, present, lively and engaged. My role is to help you access what’s already within you but hidden from your awareness: greater clarity, power, and the parts of you that are ready to lead the way toward lasting change.
